After entertaining audiences for 13 remarkable years, The Johnsons, a beloved Nigerian comedy series, has come to an end.

Charles Inojie, who portrayed Lucky Johnson, shared the news on his official Instagram account, expressing gratitude for the incredible journey. He wrote, “THANK YOU, AFRICA… THE JOHNSONS is finally taking a bow.”

Inojie acknowledged the dedicated cast, crew, and loyal viewers who contributed to the show’s success over the years. He expressed immense gratitude to fans across the African continent for their unwavering support.

Prior to its conclusion, the sitcom experienced the departure of some cast members, including Ada Ameh (Amu Johnson) in 2022 and Samuel Ajibola (Spiff), who left for personal reasons.
